Principle
Sodecs Saving & Credit Cooperative Ltd. follows the principles of the International Cooperative Alliance (ICA 1895) and Loan Council 1994.
Objectives
- For the uplift of the economical life standard of the members, to inspire them to save and invest money for different income, skill and service-oriented business.
- Based on norms, values and principles of the cooperative, having been organized to fulfill the desire and necessities of the members.
- To increase the feelings of self-reliance and cooperation among the members.
- Having terminated the socio-economical discrepancy, to coordinate together against poverty and economic exploitation.
- To invest and make investments the money among the underprivileged people especially the peasants.
- Without religious, gender and racial disparity, to emphasize equal economic development. Its further objective is to conduct various employment-based training, education, consultation service, seminars and enhance the consciousness among the members. (Sodecs can function only among the members)
- To collect small amount of money from small and middle class retailers and farmers, and invest among the SODECS members.
